Things to do in the Easter Holiday

Looking for some exciting activities this Easter which are fun for the whole family? Starting with a Mardi Gras Family Crafts workshop in the American Museum near Bath, there are a range of different events, workshops, carnivals and productions around the Frome area to choose from this April! Families can discover more about this unique American tradition through the Easter holiday starting on Tuesday 9th April and if you have room for more, take part in some Easter fun starting with a Family Easter Trail on Saturday 20th April. In Frome, the Merlin Theatre plays host to Tri Art's dance performance of 'Peter Pan' on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th April. This original adaptation of this famous tale of perpetual childhood looks set to delight the whole family. Meanwhile at the Cheese and Grain The Wurzels will be delighting fans with new and old songs in their true Somerset 'Scrumpy n' Western’ style on Friday 19th. Those who dare to 'venture into the forest' can enjoy a midweek performance of 'As You Like It’ also at The Merlin Theatre on Wednesday 17th April. The Royal Shakespear Company will deliver a riotous and exhilarating version of Shakespear's romantic comedy that, as with all Shakespear's work, breaks down barriers in a quest to discover more about our selves. Finally the local art scene is well represented with the 'Young Open 2019 Art Exhibition' held at The Black Swan Arts, which runs until Saturday 27th April, plus the Frome Art Fair situated in different locations around the town on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May.
